At the risk of getting too corny this Thanksgiving holiday, I'm sharing my corn husk party favor place cards that are SO easy and a sweet treat.
I used authentic corn husks that you can find at most grocery stores and craft stores as well.
See how I did it below with just a few materials and my favorite holiday sweets!

Holiday Party Favor Cracker Crown Template
My corn husk party favor place cards were originally conceived of as a party favor cracker, a traditional Christmas treat.
When it just wasn't working, I adjusted my design to these fun party favor place cards.

Corn Husk Party Favor Place Cards Materials
- Dried corn husks - as many as you need to account for each guest - one per guest
- Natural colored card stock
- Gold glitter card stock
- Jute twine or other seasonal narrow ribbon
- Hand hole punch
- Scissors
- Marker to write names
- Favorite candies - I love Lindor Truffles and Ferrero Rocher - yum!

It's easy to create your own corn husk party favor place cards using my two templates below.
Click each link and download to your computer.
For the corn file, decide if you want to run glitter paper through your printer OR better run the template onto copy paper and use it as a guide when you cut out your glitter paper corn cobs.
For the husks or leaves to write family and friends' names, use a natural colored card stock.
I used a fun speckle card stock that I use pretty frequently for all sorts of crafts.
I like to invest in a large ream to save a few pennies and then have it on hand for the duration!

How to Make Corn Husk Party Favor Place Cards Materials
To make your own party favor place cards, start by writing out your guests' names in marker on one of your leaves.
You can use my Happy Thanksgiving leaf or make your own!
Next, starting with your corn husk, layer over with both husk 'leaves' and your corn in this order with the husk at the bottom.
Next, take your hold punch and punch through these four layers.
Thread one end of your twine or ribbon through the front of your hole and loop back around the front.
Thread this tail back through the front and around the front again.
Tie with a bow. This method of the hole looping gives you a nice flat bow in the front.
You should feel free to tie your bow however you like!
When your corn husk party favor place cards are complete, fill the husk with candies and lay on top of your guests' plate or charger.
