DIY Rolling Lemonade Stand

The sun's out in Seattle and I'm celebrating by spreading the entrepreneurial spirit and my DIY rolling lemonade stand! This fun and surprisingly easy wooden lemonade stand is the perfect way to quench neighbor's thirst for supporting adorable kids and their (ad)ventures.

Price For Volume (and Tips!)

There are lots of lemonade sales philosophies and pricing strategies, but the one that works for us is based on a fair price and the idea that the more we sell the more we'll be known!

We charge $.50 per 6 oz. cup of lemonade and that makes it easy for customers to hand us a one dollar bill and ask us to keep the change.

How To Make Your Own DIY Rolling Lemonade Stand

I encourage you to pre-paint all of your boards so you will have an easy time assembling and be ready to enjoy right away.

Start by making your rectangular bases (2). Screw two 36" 2x4s to two 17" 2x4s to make your rectangle.

Add one piece of your plywood to your base.

Now attach your casters.

Next, attach your 39" and 62" 2x4s to the corners of your base piece.

Now, start screwing in your 6" panels on the front and sides, ending with the top 6"x39" piece.

Rock The Block with Lemonade Upgrades

At Satsuma Kids Shop we love an upgrade! The same goes for selling lemonade. We want all of our customers to walk away with a smile on their face and delight in their heart by the way they were treated and the special touches they experienced.

We start our lemonade treats by adding freshly washed fruit to every cup of lemonade we sell. Try pretty red berries like raspberries and strawberry slices along with a thinly sliced lemon wheel.
