Easter Carrot Bouquet and Centerpiece

Easter Carrot Bouquet and Centerpiece

Do you like to buy baby and wedding gifts off the registry, park on the wrong side of the street and put your coffee in your cream, instead of the other way around? Me too!

Friend, this is is the Easter project for you. My Easter carrot bouquet and centerpiece is a delightful alternative to cut tulips this spring.

I was inspired to go off book this Easter with this fun carrot bouquet that when paired with other seasonal veggies makes a wonderful centerpiece that can be eaten too!

The best upcycled project, this Easter vegetables centerpiece is sure to delight guests and hosts.

Present this tasty, healthy and colorful bouquet to your Easter brunch or dinner hostess and help him or her artfully arrange it in a clear vase.

Use a trifle bowl like I did for some volume and interest.

However you decide to arrange your Easter carrot bouquet and centerpiece, be sure to enjoy your Easter meal with friends and family.

When you're done on Sunday, I've shared a few recipes below to try with the carrots, asparagus, kale and parsley I've included in my vegetable centerpiece.

Here's what you need to make your own Easter Carrot Bouquet and Centerpiece

  • Carrots with green stems
  • Lacinato kale
  • Asparagus
  • Parsley
  • Waxed floral paper, or some combination of a waterproof layer and a layer of orange wrapping: construction paper, tissue paper, wrapping paper, etc.
  • Rubber band
  • Orange organza ribbon or other orange ribbon to coordinate with your orange wrapping
  • Scissors

Here's how to make your own Easter Carrot Bouquet and Centerpiece

Start by rinsing your veggies free of any dirt. You'll want to wash them again before consuming as well.

Now gather your carrots and veggies and arrange them into a full bouquet. Use your rubber band to secure them to make it easier to wrap your waxed floral paper around your veggies.

Place your veggie bundle diagonal lengthwise on top of your paper.

Fold the corner that is closest to the bottom of your veggies over onto your veggies.

Now wrap the shorter side of your waxed floral paper over your veggie bundle.

Fold the other side over too.

Finally, tie your ribbon around the top of your veggie bouquet and secure with a bow.

After you present your vegetables bouquet or opt to create your own Easter vegetables bouquet centerpiece, use a trifle bowl or other wide mouth clear vase or vessel to arrange your veggies in layers as I've done here.
