Lemonade Stand Camp and Introduction to Social Impact Business

This summer campers at the Mercer Island Lemonade Stand Camp will discover the joy of entrepreneurship through ‘on the job’ training in a fun and fully interactive way.

This screen-free curriculum teaches students about business planning skills, product launches, teamwork, creative marketing and sales skills by creating a Lemonade Stand business over the course of a week.

Students will learn about social impact and discuss which community organizations to support.

Dates: July 27th-July 31st

Time: 1p-4p

Ages: for children ages 8-11, 3rd-5th grades

Registration: Registrants will be contacted by email for camper details.

* Minimum of 6 to continue. Paid in full with full refund if notified by July 1st, otherwise 75% refund until July 20th.

All materials will be presented through textbooks, workbooks and in-person instruction. Special features include:

  • Starting a business basics
  • Product development and selection
  • Budgeting and pricing
  • Making and testing freshly squeezed lemonade
  • Creative marketing
  • Support of a local non-profit organization
