The 25% of products that are not manufactured in Seattle are due to manufacturing constraints in our region. And you can assure your customers that they can be confident that Satsuma Designs are made with quality craftsmanship, by adults in a healthy working environment of materials that are safe for families. Here's an interview with Satsuma Designs founder, Jennifer, at Kangaloop, the place to find the best new producers and retailers worldwide.

Sustainable resource

  • Bamboo is grown without pesticides
  • It’s a renewable resource that retains and maintains soil health
  • Bamboo grows to maturity in 2 to 3 years

Closed loop production methods

The fabrics we use in our products are manufactured using the most innovative closed loop production systems that preserve the integrity of the fabric and protect the environment in which they’re produced.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

We’re in this business for the long-term and treat our customers as friends for life. If we fail to meet expectations of our products, customer service or practices, we’ll refund the items at our expense and make strides to improve any aspect of our business found lacking. We promise!

No-Waste Design

We operate under a ‘no-waste design’ principal and take care to recycle and up-cycle material used in our production process. You’ll find innovative new products from us that utilize everything from cutting table scraps to the ribbon we use in our packaging. We’re committed to sustainability throughout our business.

Packaging

Satsuma Designs packages our products for retail with care for the environment, but with a mind to a rich merchandising experience for customers. We use packaging that can be recycled whether by conventional recycling practices or by repurposing our attractive and durable packaging materials into new and innovative items.

Care of Satsuma Designs

While we know washing up after baby often involves a hot wash and dry, to preserve the life of our products, we recommend a hand or cool, gentle cycle wash and line dry. You’ll enjoy peace of mind knowing that Satsuma Designs will last.
