School Logo Wear Uniform Recycling Program
Greetings!
Thank you for your interest in our school logo wear and plaid uniform recycling program.
In support of our mission to cultivate sustainability in all we do, Satsuma Uniform collects used school plaid and athletic logo wear to keep them out of landfills and give new life to otherwise unwearable clothing.
Our team of sewers upcycles these items into new products (baby hats, baby mitts, kids hats, cinch sacks, zip pouches, and MORE!) that we donate to local + international children's charities as well as sell to cover our costs.
We also shred uniforms in our industrial fabric shredder to use in our pet bed and home decor collections.
Partnership Requirement: Promote Our Pet Beds
This program is free to schools — and it stays that way because of your support. In exchange for participating, all schools agree to promote Satsuma Pet Beds & Accessories to their community through newsletters, emails, and social media.
Your uniform donations are shredded and upcycled directly into our pet beds — so when your community shops our collection, they're completing the sustainability loop. It's a fair exchange that keeps this program running for everyone.
Participating schools agree to share our pet bed collection in at least 2 newsletters and 2 social media posts per school year.
Please note: We reserve the right to donate any NON-logowear items.
We protect your brand integrity and would never donate/distribute your logowear garments. Example: if you donate athletic uniform sets that have a logowear jersey and numbered (NO logo/branding) shorts. We *may* donate the shorts if we find a use for them.
Our artisans also create a full line of plaid school uniforms at our workshop in Seattle, WA.
