Fresh Strawberry Sparkling Lemonade | Ball Game Bevvies!
Fresh Strawberry Sparkling Lemonade | Ball Game Bevvies!
If warm weather at your house means ball games, here's a refreshing recipe to treat your home team fans. My fresh strawberry sparkling lemonade is a thirst quenching treat for players and spectators, alike!
Play Ball!
With a nod to yesteryear and America's favorite pastime, I'm serving my fresh strawberry sparkling lemonade in small mason jars topped with grease pen and parchment paper.
I think it's so fun to hand out these treats to all the players with their own number emblazoned on the top. It helps distinguish who's is whose in the dug out too! Hopefully, this is easier in the stands, but it's still fun to put a player's number on the drink handed to Mom, Dad or Grandpa!

Fresh Strawberry Sparkling Lemonade Recipe
- 2 cups fresh strawberries
- 3/4 c freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 c baker's sugar (fine sugar)
- 1/2 water
- Large bottle sparkling mineral water (mine was 33.2 oz)
- Sliced strawberries and lemon wheels
- Large pitcher

How To
Make your simple syrup by combining your water and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook on low while stirring until your sugar is dissolved.
Now, blend your fresh berries in a Nutribullet or other blender.
Pour all ingredients except the sliced berries and lemons over ice into your pitcher.
Stir ingredients.
Pour into small mason jars and top with berries and lemon.
Top with a hand-written cupcake liner and screw on your mason jar top.
Enjoy the game!
Mix it Up!
If you're serving adults, consider adding few ounces of flavored vodka to your lemonade for a kick!
