7 Delicious Ways to Use Balsamic Strawberries in Your Culinary Creations

Balsamic strawberries or strawberries balsamico as I like to call them are a versatile and delicious ingredient that can add a burst of flavor to a variety of dishes.

If you want to go perfectly Italian, you’ll mix up a fresh and fruity bowl of Fragole all’aceto balsamico!

Combining fresh strawberries with balsamic vinegar and a touch of sugar creates a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity.

Stawberries Balsamico Recipe

  • 6 cups chopped fresh strawberries (approximately 3 pints)
  • 2 TBS balsamic vinegar – the more aged the better for richest flavor
  • 2 TBS white sugar
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon (optional)

Combine the above ingredients in a large mixing bowl and cover. I let my strawberries balsamico rest on the countertop at room temperature for a couple of hours before serving or using in my recipe, but others refrigerate.

I find that the counter time lets them mellow out in the vinegar and sugar mixture nicely.

Also, if you add these to ice cream at room temperature they make your vanilla ice cream just the right amount creaminess for an A+ bite!

If, however, you can hold off eating your strawberries balsamico until your guests arrive, here are seven creative ways to incorporate balsamic strawberries into your meals and elevate your culinary experience.
