Frozen Banana Penguin Pops
Frozen Banana Penguin Pops
If your regional weather has you feeling like a penguin in the north or south pole, I have a sweet treat to brighten the day.
Your little flock will be marching right to you for another helping of my frozen banana penguin pops. These super fun and all-season snacks are sweet for birthday parties, after school snacks and any ol' day!
Make Your Frozen Banana Penguin Popsicles
These penguin popsicles are so easy to make!
Start by prepping your chocolate chips or chocolate melts in a microwavable glass bowl.
When chocolate is melting, peel a banana, cut it in half and insert a popsicle stick into the flat side. You'll want both of your penguin popsicles to have pointed heads just like the real thing!
Another thing to do while your chocolate is melting and coming to a perfectly silky consistency is to cut little beaks out of carrots from your fridge.
When the chocolate is nice and smooth, dip the top 2/3 of your banana half into the chocolate and let the excess drip off.
GENTLY, place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet or jelly roll pan.
Add your candy eyes and feet. If you can't find these little orange basketballs that I used for my penguin feet, simply cut mini squares or triangles from the carrot you used for your beak.
Now, slide your baking sheet into the freezer and let set for 1-2 hours.
When the chocolate is set and the bananas are frozen take out and enjoy!
