Happy Birthday Song Gift Wrap
Happy Birthday Song Gift Wrap
The best part of this little happy birthday song gift wrap project is that it's completely appropriate for young and old birthday kids. I love the idea of presenting this to Nana and little Joey too!
You can easily skip the white wrapping paper and draw directly onto a white box as well. Also, have fun if you'd like to use other color wrapping paper or construction paper. There are no rules here, but I thought it would be fun to show it on white 'sheet music' type backing to start.
Here's what you need for your Happy Birthday Song Gift Wrap
- White craft paper
- Black ribbon, embroidery thread or black twine
- Black Sharpie
- Scissors
- Tape
Here's how to make your own Happy Birthday Song Gift Wrap
Start by doing a dry run and cutting your paper to fit the gift item you're wrapping.
Now draw your Happy Birthday To You musical notes on the top of the paper.
Wrap your gift.
Finally, tape one end of your black ribbon to the back of the gift and wrap it around your gift 5 times to mimic actual sheet music.
NOTE: make sure to line up your notes with your ribbon so it's accurate.
Enjoy!
