Holiday Place Card and Party Favor in One
Holiday Place Card and Party Favor in One
This is a fun little project for holiday feasts! I created these with the kids table in mind, but love the idea of filling these treat cups with grown-up treasures too! Try my holiday place card and party favor in one idea for a fun way to greet and thank your guests for sharing their holiday spirit with you.
Materials
- Dollar store treat cups (red)
- Dollar store sparkly stems (red pipe cleaners)
- Silver alphabet letter beads
- Silver glitter paper
- Glue Stick
- Assorted holiday candies
- Scallop scissors or paper cutting machine (Cricut)
Instructions
Start by cutting out a scallop pattern with your paper cutting machine or scallop edge scissors. The small dollar store treat cups at my Dollar Tree measure 11" in circumference. This will be enough to wrap the silver glitter paper all the way around your cup.
Next, glue the silver glitter paper onto your cup.
Punch two holes in the sides of your treat cup, equidistant from each other.
Now, thread your holiday message in silver letter beads onto your sparkly stems (pipe cleaner).
Finally, wrap your stems around the cup through the holes.
Now, place your holiday place card and party favor in one at each setting to greet and delight your guests!
