When decorating with candle rings it's fun to let them shine!

More Ways to Enjoy Candles During the Holidays

Candles add so much warmth and ambiance to any environment. And it's especially nice to create this sense of comfort during the short days and long nights of winter.

I'm sharing a few ways to incorporate candles into your holiday decor.

But don't let the short holiday season prevent you from creating that warmth all year round.

It's fun to add candle light to outdoor spaces during the spring and summer. My favorite warm weather decorating trick is to scatter tea candles on our outdoor tables and pair with a single bloom or pair of flowers in a small jam jar or vase.

How do you like to celebrate each day with candle light?

Evergreen Candle Rings for Holiday Decor Materials

  • Evergreen tree branches that can be cut down to smaller pieces
  • Floral wire
  • Floral tape - 12"-18" long
  • Pruners
  • Scissors (optional)
  • Candle sticks or pillars
  • Candles (I recommend flameless)

Here's How To Easily Make Evergreen Candle Rings For Holiday Decor

Start by clipping your evergreen branch so that you have between 12 and 15 3"-4" pieces.

Next, wrap your floral wire around the candle that you'll be using to create your candle rings.

Add about 1" extra wire on each end to wrap around and make a ring.

Make your ring and secure.

Begin securing your evergreens to your ring by wrapping your floral tape a round the joint where the wire connects.

Pinch a piece of evergreen twig to you ring and wrap the floral wire around the stem of your evergreen.

In a COUNTER CLOCKWISE direction, layer the next piece of twig OVER the stem of your first twig for best results.

Repeat this layering and tape wrapping until you come to the where you started.

Now, for your final twig, layer this, wrap your tape AND wrap the last big of tape over a small section of your FIRST twig to cover up the beginning and end joint.

Please watch my video above to get a better sense of this.
