St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold Party Favor
St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold Party Favor
Ready to spread the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick's Day? I have a fun little St. Patrick's Day Pot of Gold Party Favor that can double as a sweet treat for your little leprechauns.
Sweet Treats
This easy little project only requires a quick trip to the dollar store or perhaps a rifle through your craft and candy bin.
I used the small white metal pail you find at the dollar store near the gift wrapping.
I hit the pails with a little black spray paint and then topped them with gold glitter paint. I didn't use too much paint so it dried quickly.
Alternatively, you could paint with black craft paint and sprinkle glitter before it dries.
Did I mention this is a great last minute treat?!
Next, I filled each pail with a rainbow array of chewing gum that is a real treat to my kiddos.
I alternated with a pail full of my favorite Wether's Original candies for my beloved adult leprechaun that we can share!
Taste the Rainbow
Use any colorful candies in this project to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. This also makes a fun place card for any type of celebration.
Simply add a little round or label shaped card stock tag with your guest's name on it. Tie it to the pail in a coordinating color and you're party-ready!
