Pink Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats

Are you planning your kids' Valentine's Day classroom parties? Me too! I love helping out with party planning and hosting when these holidays roll around, but will confess that it feels like the Christmas decorations were just put away. This year's Valentine's Day classroom party menu will be an easy crowd favorite. Easy because I'm getting the kids into the kitchen to help make my pink strawberry rice krispies treats.

By cutting the strawberry rice krispies treats into heart shapes using varied size heart cookie cutters, I'll create a festive dessert table that will have every little cupid smiling. The recipes for pink strawberry rice krispies treats could not be easier. Adding strawberry jam to the classic recipe and cutting the butter in half, I added sugar, but reduced some of the fat. And hopefully, nobody is counting calories on Valentine's Day!
