$5 Candle Wreath Centerpiece
$5 Candle Wreath Centerpiece
Sometimes less is more as in the case of my $5 candle wreath centerpiece.
Of course, sometimes more is more as in the case of dark chocolate, cozy days by the fire and holiday gatherings with beloved friends and family!
For this holiday project, however, I want to show you how five well spent dollars can create a beautiful and serene centerpiece that will wow AND last!
How to Create an Easy and Affordable Holiday Tablescape
It's a joy to set a holiday tablescape to delight friends and family for feasts.
I typically create a tablescape that I can leave for decor through the season, updating with little touches every week or so for fun.
This $5 candle wreath centerpiece tutorial is the perfect type of project that allows for design flexibility on a budget.
When I'm designing my tablescape with handmade centerpiece, I choose low profile elements that encourage conversation and eye contact across the table.
I design with an odd number of elements for asymmetry that the eye will enjoy as guests experience that tablescape from different angles.
For this candle wreath centerpiece, I may experiment with a trio of wreaths and place additional tea candles to round out the design.
At each place setting, I may include a place card or natural element to bring the outdoors in during the holiday season.
Have fun creating your own tablescape designs that can be easily updated throughout the season.
Floral Design Ideas for a $5 Candle Wreath Centerpiece
With this price tag, it's fun to consider creating a trio of candle wreath centerpieces for your holiday decor.
Experiment with flower designs and color palettes too!
For example, try an ombre design starting from light colors and moving into deeper, darker colors.
Or try a monochromatic color scheme adding interest by choosing blooms of different varieties.
Choose classic combinations of red and green or natural red, brown and tans.
Go off script and work in jewel tones of blue, purple and deep pink this holiday season.
Whatever color palette you choose, have fun creating your candle wreath centerpieces.

Here's How to Make a $5 Candle Wreath Centerpiece
To make your own $5 candle wreath centerpiece, start by setting up your craft space and plugging in your glue gun.
Next, remove all of the blooms from your flower stems including the leaves that you may want to either set with the blooms or separate and tuck in other places on your centerpiece.
Now, lay out all of your blooms on top of your wreath to create your perfect centerpiece.
Pay attention to form and color blending.
Try a few fun designs before you settle on one.
Refer to the floral design ideas above for inspiration!
Finally, place your pillar candle in your clear glass vessel to complete the look.
Consider using a flameless candle for fire safety too.
To change up the look, swap out your mason jar and replace with a low profile candle holder for a pillar style candle.
