I'm sharing my easy to make and even easier to enjoy compound butters in three flavors:

Each of these compound butters takes only minutes to make and enhances everything you scoop, spread and drop these butters onto.

Cook's Tips to Make Compound Butters
I've found a few tried and true methods to give me the best results in my compound butters.
The first is to use high-quality, unsalted butter. The recipe below calls for a dash of salt back into each butter.
This dash of salt allows you to control the saltiness. I find that salted butter can overwhelm the sweeter compound butters.
The next tip is to fully soften your butter. Don't rush this. Take a stick of butter out of the fridge, put it on the counter and forget about it for a day.
Place your herbs and spices next to the butter along with a small mixing bowl so that you remember why you took a perfectly good stick of butter out of the refrigerator!
Don't get too fancy, keep clean up to a minimum and use a dinner fork to mix your butter. You don't need a hand-mixer, blender or food processor.
Because your butter will be perfectly softened you can combine your butter with your spices and herbs to perfection.
Use a stiff spatula to scrape all of your tasty butter out of your mixing bowls and transfer to an air tight container.
For super fast and easy clean up, place a bowl in the sink with hot water and dish soap ready to drop the butter covered tools into for fast melting.
Bon appetit!
