Do you give and receive books during the holiday season? We do too and I love the idea of putting the kids' stamp on them to capture the moment. My holiday book plates for kids feature fun seasonal icons to enjoy. I ask the kids to write their own names so we can enjoy their sweet penmanship in the future.
Santa and a friendly snowman are ready to slide inside of your holiday books to give them a festive feel!
If you're new to bookplates, they are an old tradition to mark the owner of a book. The ancient versions might include a coat of arms and other family markers. My holiday book plates for kids aren't as serious, but lots of fun to note a book's rightful owner!

To make your own holiday book plates for kids or yourself, start by printing the PDF file below onto a full page sticker page.
I used Avery's full-sheet labels that measure 8.5"x11" for my inkjet printer.
Once I had the six book plates printed, I simply used a scissors to cut them out and affix them to the inside cover to some of our most beloved holiday books.
One of our family's favorite books is a collection of vintage Dear Santa letters from all over the United States. Published by Chronicle Books, this look into the past shares over 100 letters written by children to Santa between 1870 and 1920. It's so fun to read!
