How To Make Easy New Years Eve Felt Fortune Cookies
These little fortune cookies are so fun and easy to make.
Start by deciding if you'd rather make the cookies or the fortunes first.
Cookie Instructions
To make your cookies, trace your circle onto your felt.
Next, cut out your circle.
Place a piece of wire down the center of your felt and glue it onto the felt.
Fold your felt in half with the wire as your fold point.
Now, run 1"-2" of glue along the outer curve (inside of felt) of felt and press two edges together.
Here comes the art of the matter.
Fold the wire gentle back so that the ends nearly meet.
This will create the classic fortune cookie fold.
Insert a rolled up fortune and you're done!
Fortune Instructions
Challenge yourself to make fun, funny and prophetic fortunes to delight your friends and family.
You can either hand write your fortunes on 1/2" wide X 2"-3" long strips of paper or feel free to type and print fortunes as well.
When fortunes are complete, insert a rolled up fortune in your cookie and you're done!
