Roasted garlic is such a savory treat! I'm sharing this easy to make recipe so you can enjoy roasted garlic as a lovely appetizer or add to any number of your favorite dishes.

Step. 1
Start by removing the extra layers of thing papery skin from as many garlic bulbs as you plan to roast.
Do this over the sink or compost bucket for ease.
Also, pre-heat oven to 400 degrees F.

Step 3.
Next, place your bulb(s) and top on a sheet of aluminum foil.
Step 4.
Drizzle olive oil over garlic bulbs.
Step 5.
Create an aluminum foil packet with your garlic bulb(s) nestled inside for baking.
With the flesh side of your garlic bulb facing down, wrap and twist the aluminum foil up the sides as shown below.
Step 6.
Place garlic bulb packets on the oven as shown below.
Alternatively, you can place garlic bulb(s) in a standard size muffin tin with flesh side up, drizzle with olive oil and top with a small piece of foil.
Roast garlic for 40 minutes.
Step 7.
Unwrap foil packets to reveal perfectly roasted garlic bulbs.
