Northwest Nicoise Salad
Northwest Nicoise Salad
This is a sponsored post for Pacific Coast Harvest. All ideas and opinions are mine alone.
As warm weather slowly and gently blankets the Pacific Northwest, menus get lighter and oven use declines. I'm sharing my Northwest Nicoise salad recipe that calls for the best locally grown, organic produce in our region.
Local Fare
I was delighted to pull ingredients from Pacific Coast Harvest's Washington Box of produce that was overflowing with the perfect ingredients for my spin on the classic French salad recipe.
Pacific Coast Harvest draws on a number of Northwest and west coast farms and growers to create their 100% organic produce boxes. Their community support agriculture (CSA) model demands the best seasonal produce available.
Make It Work
If you're new to the CSA model, Pacific Coast Harvest makes it easy to find out what works best for you. Consider starting with a pre-packed box and move into a custom order. Specify exactly what produce you'd like and add on pantry items too. Find out how in their easy to follow primer here.
My Washington Box showed up with a dozen perfectly picked and fully ripe fruits and vegetables. I was delighted by the quality of the fruit that we quickly cut and ate. The greens were bright and hydrated and the radishes the most beautiful pink!
