Garden In A Glass | Flowering Rosemary Mint Ice Cubes
The first tenet of event planning no matter the size is to obsess about the details. From care of guests to creating special moments and details that will be unforgettable to those attending.
One special detail that always delights is adding elements to ice cubes for celebrations. My favorite time to create specialty ice cubes is during the spring and summer when warm weather gatherings dot the calendar.
I'm sharing my Garden In A Glass project that's beyond easy to make, but creates a big impression.
Garden In A Glass
To Cultivate Your Own Garden In A Glass, start with a square ice cube mold. Opt for an easy to use silicone ice mold that can also be used for other fun recipes.
Go sweet when you add chocolate, sprinkles, marshmallows and a popsicle stick to create Hot Cocoa Dippers this holiday season.
Next, cut a short sprig of rosemary and pinch off a pair of mint leaves. Add these two herbs with a single edible flower to one of the ice cube cells then fill with water.
Welcome your guests with a glass of sparkling water and garden ice cubes in a champagne flute. The herbs will naturally flavor the water as the ice cube melts.
Cultivate Great Memories
I love to use these festive ice cubes for any occasion, but I think they are wonderful for a baby shower, Mother's Day, fiesta de quinceañera, sweet 16th party and any other time friends gather.
Surprisingly, there are so many types of edible flowers that I'm learning about as I go. Be sure to add the herbs too in order to easily flavor your sparkling water. Delish!
