I've been doodling stars lately and love this motif for holiday and beyond. Here's my polka dot paper star ornaments printable that's easy to make and enjoy year round.
The polka dot paper stars make perfect gift toppers and holiday decorations. I love the idea of filling a small table top tree or evergreen garland with these bright little stars. With white twinkle lights, they would look darling!

3-D Decor
These three dimensional stars might look a bit complicated, but are actually very easy to make. One trick is to try to cut them accurately, which is also easy because of the bright colors I used.
When you print these on white paper the contrast is nice to run your scissors or blade down the lines.
To make sharp points on every edge, use a bone scoring tool to make a sharp crease down the center of your stars before you apply glue and combine the three pieces.

To make your own paper star ornaments and gift toppers, print this PDF file onto 65 lb. or 80 lb. white card stock.
Next, cut out the stars. When you have three stars, fold each down the center, add a twine or ribbon loop and glue the backs together.
