Sparkle Jack-O-Lantern Donut Stand
Sparkle Jack-O-Lantern Donut Stand
This is the donut stand the inspired my Donut Be Tricked! Halloween Party! I was so excited to find these light up sparkly Jack-O-Lanterns at my local Dollar Tree. I created these sparkle jack-o-lantern donut stands with just a few materials for a major holiday impact!
Sparkle Pumpkin Donut Tower Materials
- Dollar store pumpkins
- Dowel or bamboo approximately 12-16" long
- Orange or green paint for your dowel
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Small black plastic plate
- Drill with bit the same diameter as your dowel or bamboo (I used my 3/8" drill bit)
Instructions
To make the Sparkle Jack-O-Lantern donut towers you see here, I simply pulled the stem top off the pumpkin. It was lightly glued to the top so it wasn't hard to remove.
Next, I drilled a hole through 2 dessert size black plastic plates.
Then, I inserted a painted bamboo dowel through my plates and into the base of the pumpkin. I painted my bamboo orange because I wanted to keep my color scheme to orange and black, but a green bamboo would be great too! You could use young bamboo that is already green.
I topped the bamboo with the pumpkin stem to finish the donut tower.

Serve the donuts on your own sparkle jack-o-lantern donut stands with ice cold milk and a festive straw like I did here.
