St. Patrick's Day Party Garland
St. Patrick's Day Party Garland
Nothing sets the room for a party like a festive garland! St. Patrick's day decorating lends itself to cheerful and bright designs like my shamrock party garland.
With just a few supplies, I created this St. Patrick's day party garland in minutes.
Make Your Own Party Garland
I started with a package of 12 glitter shamrocks in light and dark green. I used my small 1/4" hole punch to make small holes in either side of each shamrock top.
Then, I threaded some elastic gold cording through my shamrocks making sure to enter through the front so that my cording would be on the back of the shamrock.
Finally, I tied two loops on either end of the cording to hang on clear command hooks. Command hooks are the little hooks that have adhesive tabs that can be removed and won't damage your wall or mantle. I use them everywhere!
I added a little green curly ribbon to cover my loops, but this isn't necessary if you don't have a bit of green ribbon on hand.
