DIY Chalkboard Crown

  • Empty toilet paper roll or 1/2 or 1/3 paper towel roll
  • Chalkboard paint
  • Paint brush
  • Paint pot (optional. I use an old peanut butter jar top)
  • Ribbon or pom pom embellishment or anything you choose
  • Hair clip (can use a headband instead)
  • Scissors
  • Chalk
  • Glue gun
  • Glue stick
Here's what you'll do to make your own New Year's Eve Chalkboard Crown in 5 Minutes: Start by firing up your glue gun Now cut points out of the toilet paper roll with your scissors. Create 2 little tabs to affix the clip or headband too. Cut the excess cardboard off so that the crown will lay flat against your head.
