Chocolate Pecan Banana Bread with Free Printables
Do you need a recipe that says Thank You with delight? My chocolate pecan banana bread recipe is the perfect match for gratitude.
This sweet, quick bread verges on a cake, but comes in a perfect little compact loaf to gift to neighbors, friends and those who have done you a good turn.
We were so lucky to have received a hand-me-over bicycle from a neighbor whose children had outgrown it. It was beyond generous and my attempt to compensate was denied.
I quickly landed in the kitchen where I knew I could bake up some gratitude. I turned to our family's favorite quick bread. My chocolate pecan banana bread is easy to mix together, takes about an hour to make, bake and cool.
Thank You Gift Toppers
While my chocolate pecan banana bread was baking, I sat down and created an easy little thank you gift topper to pair with the bread.
I printed these on a piece of craft paper, which I thought would look great with my unbleached parchment paper that I wrapped around the bread loaf. You could print these on any color of card stock. I left the black outline on my flag gift toppers because I like the way they complimented the black 'thank you!'
You could also easily trim off the black outline if you used a brighter color paper or pastel and didn't care for the contrast.
My Thank You gift toppers files are listed below for easy downloading and printing.
