If there's an unsung hero to rival M-O-M each holiday season it's the weather-beating, box-toting, truck-driving, barking dog avoiding package delivery men and women.
And to show our solidarity this holiday, I've created a fun little printable to use when you set up your delivery driver holiday treat station.
I know I can be doing more to spread some holiday cheer and my gratitude for those who serve us all year. And since this idea is all over Pinterest and I just had to join the fun!
I started with my galvanized metal Santa sleigh that is so fun to fill with gifts under the tree each Christmas. When it's not in use for wrapped gifts, it makes the perfect way to present giftable treats to our intrepid package delivery drivers.
I decorated the space with my favorite multi-colored Poinsettias. Ivory with dark green leaves in pots and red burlap blooms with clips make for easy decorating.
Next, I printed my flier that invites any passing driver to help him/herself to any treats. I put this out at the end of our walkway so that delivery folk serving our neighbors have the chance to grab a treat or two as well.
I slide my flier into an 8.5" x 11" acrylic frame that stands up to the weather and keeps the information clear and easy to read.
Next, I stock my little sleigh! My delivery driver holiday treat station is a reflection of all my favorite road trip treats.
I like to do a little breakfast section and another afternoon snack section.
And no matter the time of day, our busy delivery drivers appreciate a little chocolate flavored coffee beverage. These Starbucks frappaccino drinks are always tasty!
