Distance Learning Dress Code
Wear school appropriate clothing | No pajamas here! Some will opt to dress up on top and remain casual in sweatpants or other casual wear, but I recommend fully dressing so students feel put together.

- Prep the night before for lessons and activities including clothing

Kids Personal Hygiene Checklist
I designed this kids personal hygiene checklist to serve as a tool for families who may be tired of the daily morning inquiries.
When posting this checklist for all the younger family members either in the bathroom or each child's bedroom, families can empower their kids to clean up.
I use a Command hook to hang a pen that can be used each morning to check off each of the activities.
I've had abundant success with incentive programs with my kids through the years and encourage it!
Some argue that you shouldn't reward behavior that should be carried out with or without a prize at the end.
I say that by providing incentives for good behavior you are helping the kids create their own good habits.
With the right use of these checklists and rewards, you shouldn't have to use this in excess.
Kids Checklist Rewards
There are endless ways to reward kids' good behavior and habits.
- I like to keep a stash of goodies - candies, fresh felt tip pens, notebooks, chewing gum - on hand to dole out each week.
- I also like to plan experiences as rewards.
- A trip to the beach, a special meal, a bike ride or schedule playdate with a friend are all seen as bonus time in our family.
- Work to create this excitement for time spent together doing favorite things.
Be present for a board game, card playing and outdoor horsing around. These create the memories of childhood that's OUR incentive for healthy parenting!
