Easter Chick Place Card and Party Favor | Free Printable
Are you hosting Easter brunch or dinner this year? Here's a cute and easy place card and party favor to delight your guest big and small.
I love these for the kids table, but work great as a treat for the grown ups too. I fill my jumbo plastic eggs with my favorite Easter candy to enjoy as dessert or take as a party favor.
Make Your Own Easter Chick Place Cards
In addition to adding toothpicks to my little chick printable (file below), I thought it would be fun to put the egg in some grass. To do this, I cut a 6.5" x 1.5" piece of card stock and glued it with about a 1/2" overhang. That is, about 1/2" for glue.
Next, I fringe cut some green crepe paper streamers that I had on hand and glued three layers around my card stock base. Grass done!
Easy Hand Lettering
I took a hand lettering class at Paper Source a couple of years ago and have been trying my hand at it ever since. And I mean 'trying', not mastering! I have let go of trying to get it just right and enjoy the process of pencil then pen, then eraser!
I like the shape of this hand lettered alphabet from One Artsy Mama. In truth, you can't mess these up. Just add a bit more ink to the downward stroke of each letter and you will be amazed at how it starts looking just like what you see on those gorgeous chalk boards!

Easter Chick Place Card Printable
It's so easy to make your own Easter chick place card or cupcake topper. Start by downloading the PDF file in the link below.
Next, print the document onto 65 lb. or 80 lb. white card stock. Use a 2" diameter paper punch or scissors to cut out your chicks.
When you have your chicks cut out, hand letter your names then use a glue stick to affix a short toothpick to the front and place another on the back.
Now you can insert the toothpick into the small mold hold at the top of the egg or use as a cake or dessert topper!
