A quick trip to the dollar store was all we needed for two simple materials to make our Father's Day Sharpie Mug Gift. First we found this classic white ceramic mug in the always tempting glassware aisle.

The next step was to create a festive design that we knew Dad would love. I've always liked the est. xx motif whether for business or personal design and so my son drew his arrow design and added DAD and est. in the year he was born. How fun!
Finally, we painted on a coat of Mod Podge's heat resistant product that will make this dishwasher safe. No need to bake these!
