Host a Fairy Camp Party
Host a Fairy Camp Party
The camp theme party trend is too fun and why limit it to human size guests and hosts? I'm sharing how to host a fairy camp party to invite all the little fairies to the fete!
Fairy Sized Fun
I had so much fun designing my fairy camp party that I hosted for more than a dozen little crafters at my kids shop in Seattle. From my dollar store finds to adorable tiny scale of these elements it was as much fun to plan as it was to host.
I started with a trip to the dollar store for my fairy camp houses, which I spray painted a pretty aqua blue.
I stocked up at the dollar store with dried moss, artificial flowers, jute twine, jewels and lots of glue. With each of these elements, I planned to make a whimsical camp site to welcome fairies.
Natural Selection
Next, I hit the park with a bag and scoured the base of our beautiful northwest evergreen trees for broken branches. With these, I hot glued a hammock frame that I secured and decorated with jute twine.

Party Time
With the party set and guests arriving, I hung my tissue paper tassel garland and set my craft station with fairy camp houses. My cozy hammocks and all the elements that a fairy needs to put her feet up, let her wings down and enjoy the great outdoors were ready to enjoy!
I pre-cut coordinating fabric into hammocks that the fairy camp party guests threaded with twigs to make a hanging bed.
Moss was glued into the durable fairy camp tent along with jewels to create festive decor.
Added Inspiration
For extra design ideas, I share two of my favorite Fairy House books to browse. These sweet and whimsical works bring life to the wonder of fairy house building.
Strawberry cupcakes were served to fortify our crafters!
