Tea Party Perfection
Serve these lemon and lavender cream scones right out of the oven with clotted cream and lemon curd. Pair with herbal tea or black tea with milk for a perfectly British tea party.

Lavender Lemon Scones Recipe
Makes 8 scones
- 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 TBS sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 TBS lemon zest
- 2 TBS culinary lavender
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- Coarse sugar and lavender to sprinkle on top
How To
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine first six ingredients. Stir in heave whipping cream until dough comes together.
- Form dough into a ball and place on cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle coarse sugar and lavender on top.
- Press down and cut into 8 equal pieces.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until scones are golden brown.
- Serve with Devonshire cream and lemon curd.
