Camp Care Package Ideas Without Food
Camp Care Package Ideas Without Food
We're celebrating summer with a treat for our little campers. They're off to the woods and water and I'm prepping for their departure. Of course, along with the 3 page packing list is my plan for the cozy care package.
Our camp doesn't allow parents and care givers to send food in our care packages. I think they're afraid of bugs, or could it be the sugar shock?! Either way, I'm sharing my camp care package ideas without food.
If you're up the river in my canoe too, read along and we'll paddle out together!
Camp Care Package Ideas
I had lots of fun creating my days of the week care package without food. I thought about what would be fun to open on what day and came up with...
- Monday - notebook and pen
- Tuesday - card games
- Wednesday - lip balm and chapstick
- Thursday - small stuffed animal
- Friday - Mad Libs and hair ties
- Saturday - clean socks!
I wrapped and loaded all the care package gifts into a large zip lock bag with the camper's name on it. Then I nestled the bag into their suitcase to discover!
Wrap It Up!
I wanted the kids to have fun unwrapping days of the week camp care package items so I designed camp-theme doodles for each day.
Here are some campy drawings for your to try!
- Camp fire
- Arrows
- Fish
- Sailboat
- Canoe
- Trees
- Paddle Board
- Oars
- Flag
- Tent
