Shortbread Cookie Hearts
Shortbread Cookie Hearts
It's snowing like mad in Seattle this Valentine's Day season so what better way to beat back the housebound blues with a little baking? I've mixed up my easy and delicious shortbread cookie hearts to share with my valentines and enjoy myself!
This recipe takes only 4 ingredients that I bet you have on hand. I was inspired to mix these up and roll them out as the kids enjoyed a snowbound movie. With butter, powdered sugar, flour and salt you can have these ready to devour with a cuppa in no time.
Add a little extra sweetness when you make shortbread cookie heart sandwiches like we did here.

Sweet Treat
I always use Bonne Maman jams for my baking and it never disappoints. Add these when cookies are cooled to make jam cookie sandwiches to share in the Valentine's Day classroom party. Wrap up a few for neighbors and teachers too!
