Kids Smoothie Recipe: Smoothie Doobie Doo
Have you introduced Scooby-Doo to your family? I'm not sure how it happened, I blame the library video selection, but junior and little miss picked up a copy of an early Scooby-Doo cartoon and are now obsessed. They love the mysteries and I make sure to watch with them to avoid any fears over the bad guy who I explain is the grumpy neighbor dressed up. They get it.
Last Saturday morning, I whipped up this Smoothie Dooby-Doo brilliantly dubbed by little miss. Four easy ingredients combine for a tasty Scooby snack that will have your little mystery sleuths asking for me.
Here's what you'll need to make your own kids smoothie recipe: Smoothie Dooby Doo:
- Banana
- 2 Tbs Nutella or chocolate hazlenut spread (you could use a nut butter and a dash of chocolate syrup or powder here too. You just want it to turn a little brown like a Scooby snack)
- Dairy or non-dairy milk
- Ice cubes
- Few nuts (optional)
- Protein powder (optional)
